Disambiguation needed[edit]
At the time of the Battle of Karbala, Husayn had a daughter Fatima, known as Fatima Kubra (Big Fatima) or Sakina, who was about 11 years old and seems to have died in Damascus of mistreatment. Another daughter, Fatema Sugra bint Husayn, 8 years old, was too ill to travel. A third daughter, Ruqayya, also known as Sukayna, 4 years old, accompanied the expedition that ended at Karbala, and was taken prisoner to Damascus, where she died of mistreatment, and is buried.
