Change the plot summary from saying Elijah Goode, brother of Solomon,accused Sarah and Hannah of being witches for rejecting him to townsman Caleb accused Sarah and Hannah of being witches for rejecting him at a party. it was Caleb not Elijah. Add this to the plot:

After her had was cut off, Sarah Fier escaped into the room where Cyrus Miller killed the children. Unfortunately, Solomon Goode and the townsfolk caught her. The town sentences both Hannah and Sarah to hanging for witchcraft. Sarah pins all the blame on herself to save Hannah. Solomon advocates for Hannah's release. Before Sarah dies, she curses Solomon saying the truth will be his curse and it will come out eventually. After Sarah is hung, her friends bury her and the film abruptly switches back to the present day.

After evading Nick Goode, Deena catches her brother up with her recent revelations. The most significant is that the first born of the Goode family continues Solomon Goode's tradition by offering up a Shadysider to the devil every generation. The devil takes possession of that person and commits murder, increase the Goode family and Sunnyvale's prosperity. They then decide to kill Nick Goode to end the curse. After meeting with Ziggy Burman and recruiting a graffiti spray painter Deena's brother assisted in the first film, the 4 of them return to the mall and lay traps for the undead killers and Goode.

After an initial botched attempt to kill Goode, he escapes beneath the mall (where the witch's mark and the tunnels with the mass of dead bodies seen in the 2nd film is) with Deena and a possessed Sam giving Chase. While the spray painter, Deena's brother, and Ziggy hold off the undead killers, Sam catches Deena and chokes her until her love snaps Sam out of the possession. However, Nick Goode catches Deena and almost kills her until she exposes Nick to the unholy mass at the center of the witches' mark. While he is distracted by visions of the killers' victims over the centuries, Deena kills him and the mass, undead killers, and their names on the wall disappear. Deena and Sam escape to the surface and the media depicts Nick Goode as the Sunnyvale killer. Deena and Sam have a picnic date at Sarah Fier's grave, her brother catches a girl's eye (who's from his online chatroom), and the spray painter sells technology.
