A fact from Feathers Hotel, Ludlow appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 16 July 2011 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that The New York Times referred to the Feathers Hotel(pictured) in Ludlow, Shropshire, as "the most handsome inn in the world"?
Much of the material for this article came from a now defunct website, "Eerie Evenings". Not only is the link dead, I'm not at all certain it was a particularly reliable source when alive. I've replaced it with the Shropshire Pevsner, which I think is a little more reputable. As a consequence, I've also removed the "Haunting" section entirely, as its only source was Eerie Evenings - hardly a reliable source as a promotional site running commercial "ghost tours". @We hope: This hotel is supposed to be one of the most haunted hotels in the UK. I have a book on haunted inns and am pretty sure this one is in there. There should definitely be a section on it.
