Fiddling[edit]

I'm going to see what I can do with this article, excuse my fiddling! Pusillanimous 15:54, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal[edit]

I propose that we merge the multiple cereal growth staging scales (namely, Feekes scale, Zadoks scale, and BBCH-scale (cereals) into one article (the Feekes scale space) that can be renamed to something (perhaps in summary-style) that will provide a more effective way to present the material. Alone, the articles are more or less stubs, with a short introduction (many need additional wikification) and then the questionable inclusion of an example scale (which may vary based on different crops). Creating a merged article would also allow for discussion of the science behind growth staging of small cereal grains (called corn in some areas, not to be confused with Zea mays), e.g. the benefits it has to management. Thank you for your comments! --Pusillanimous 21:03, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because there is no wikipedia article specifically for "small grains" that don't include maize (e.g. wheat, barley), I've added BBCH-scale (maize) to the list of proposed articles to be merged. --Pusillanimous 20:40, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with merge, perhaps all to Cereal growth staging scales. Klbrain (talk) 10:20, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
