"Feels So Good" is a song by English singer Melanie B, from her debut solo studio album Hot (2000). Likely does not need the comma pause here.

"Feels So Good" received positive reviews from music critics, with Attitude's Nick Levine describing it as Melanie B's signature song from her solo career, although Nigel Parker from BBC Music criticized its length. I am not sure if picking two reviews here is the best for the lead, as it gives more credit to these two writers/reviewers/authors rather than highlighting the whole with the simple overview. It may discredit or lessen the other review's pull.

I feel like the quote: ... while also describing the song's writing process, "I just wrote about a really special love, even though I didn't have that then!" could be paraphrased as it does not add much, is a bit confusing coming from Mel B, and can reduce quoting in this paragraph. Maybe while also describing the song, Melanie B wrote about a special affection that was "very ideal ...

Promotion[edit]

The video starts out with Melanie B driving her car down a road singing the intro and scenes of a house with a couple kissing. Omit "out" as extra word, comma before "singing" for needed pause.
As the song progresses, she walks through the house singing the song with scenes of three couples kissing and then an unseen blinding light appears and the woman in each couple knock something over reads awkwardly with the two "and"s as a run-on sentence would. I would rephrase this sentence or break it up, likely before the unseen light: couples kissing. Then, an unseen blinding light appears, and the women ...
Sub note to the above, "the woman in each couple knock something over" is awkward. Does this imply a bedroom act? Or maybe the women's setting in different parts of the house? I have not watched the music video as of writing, so this is unclear.

MOS:DUPLINKs "BBC Music", "UK Dance" in "Reception".

"It was released by Virgin Records on 19 February 2001 in the United Kingdom", as per other reviews so far (I would just ask for an explanation to whichever one you get to first), not sure if the source attached states such since the magazine is published before its release date and it does not explicitly mention a date of release. *"very happy, very uplifting as opposed to the first single which was very controversial" should be double quotes, quoted from a quote using {{" '}} {{' "}} templates.

"She also justified the single's choice, 'This time of the year is a bit of a depressing time...and I wanted to bring something out that was uplifting and this song does it for me so hopefully it'll do it for everyone else'" is not supported by this source. Because I reviewed the other single about Mel B., maybe there was a source lost in translation here between the two articles?
