WikiProject Dance To-do list:

Deleted PR[edit]

I deleted all the pronunciation respellings (PR) except the first. AS i explained in Wikipedia talk:Pronunciation respelling key, i don't like PR. In this case what annoyed me is PRs with 〈ai〉 or 〈ay〉 representing [eɪ] (name), and 〈ei〉 or 〈ey〉 or 〈eye〉 representing [aɪ] (time), when it should be vice-versa /vaɪs vɜrsə/. In the case of the third PR, it didn't have the offending 〈ey〉= [aɪ], but since i had deleted the 2nd and 4th PRs, I figured it would look nicer, more symmetrical if the 3rd was deleted also. Okay?--Solomonfromfinland (talk) 06:50, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted[edit]

I deleted the remaining PR, in keeping with Wikipedia's policy of using only IPA for non-English languages. (See Wikipedia talk:Pronunciation respelling key.) Okay?--Solomonfromfinland (talk) 07:18, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

FeisFèis – Although it may be correct Irish, "feis" means "sex" in Scottish Gaelic and therefore should be avoided to comply with Wikipedia:Article Titles no vulgarity unless unavoidable Alázhlis (talk) 17:57, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. This is English Wikipedia. There is no vulgarity understood in the current title by English-speakers. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:53, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
