Merge with "Garment fetishism"[edit]

..it's more than sensible to assume that "fetish fashion" and the fetish for garments are co-dependencies, inseparable in their origins and participants. Redblueball (talk) 12:12, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yet fetish style, custom, and decoration, in forms such as music, hair styles, toys and accessories, collars, body piercings, tattoos, makeup, and jewelry are not about garments, but they are about fashion. -- BukakiKid (talk) 22:39, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I respectfully disagree with the proposal to merge the topic with "Garment fetishism"; some people do wear fetish clothing (PVC, corsets, etc.) because they like how it looks or the image it projects without fetishizing the garments themselves. For example, I like how I look in a corset and I like how people react to me when I'm in one. — ruthfw (talk · contribs)
