Firestone 45Firestone XR-9 — It would seem to me that the USAAF/USAF designation would be the better title for this page, as the helicopter was developed to a military contract. The civilian version being a bit of an afterthought, it seems, that went nowhere (not that the R-9 itself went anywhere! But it was the 'original', as it were...). Since the proposed title is free, and there seem to be no objections, you're free to move the article when ready. But I think the first sentence or two of the article should be recast to match the new title.--Kotniski (talk) 05:47, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. And, it's done. - The Bushranger Return fireFlank speed 05:54, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

USAF?[edit]

Why is United States Air Force all over this page? The Air Force wasn't formed until later the next year. It would have been evaluated by the Army Air Forces (not Army Air Force). --Born2flie (talk) 08:22, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. - The Bushranger Return fireFlank speed 09:21, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is now. I see the references, but nobody knows which information came from which reference without in-text or inline citations. The article looks good, just need to bring it in line with WP:VERIFY. --Born2flie (talk) 10:25, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I need to work on that, thanks for the poke on it. :) Found some stuff and added a bit to get it started with the inlines, and I'll try to add some more later. These obscure/weird types really fascinate me for some reason. - The Bushranger Return fireFlank speed 16:52, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
