Trail is defunct[edit]

There has been considerable desire to get the trail re-opened however the trail was destroyed almost entirely end to end. Vulcan did not want the trail to exist any way, so even if the San Gabriel Mountains Trailbuilders volunteers were brought in to rebuild the trail, there would likely be corporate opposition.
