Color[edit]

The article seems to omit two features that set Fisher Towers apart from the rest of the Moab canyonlands. First its color is closer to purple or lavender than almost any other large or prominent formation in SE Utah or the Colorado Plateau. The picture in the article in 2020 "lies" about the color or fails to portray it because the sunset light makes it redder than it is the rest of the day, even in direct sun. Second it is unique for its shape, and I don't know how to describe it, but I know of nothing else that looks quite like Fisher Towers.
