Should split-shot sinkers be added to this page? Iain marcuson 04:12, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brass[edit]

So they're outlawing lead, but they permit brass?? My guess is that the dissolving copper would be even more hazardous to all living things. --BjKa (talk) 11:23, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hook line and sinker[edit]

What does the sinker do in this phrase, does it just mean the whole lot has been swallowed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.128.241.188 (talk) 18:55, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Banned lead sinkers UK[edit]

Does anyone happen to know which Lead (Pb) sinkers are banned in the UK? Your article mentions that most are, but it's not specific. Thanks. 92.19.248.62 (talk) 14:00, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Knoch?[edit]

Never heard of that word, and I can't find it anywhere online. Someone should provide an etymological source, or remove it. AnyGuy (talk) 22:09, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
