Wet[edit]

Well I'd guess they aren't recommended where it might be wet as the water can get below them around the edges. That's just a guess though. Personally I wonder whether it mightn't be better for water to seep below if it can evaporate off as there is a separation between thee wood and the floor whereas if the wood was straight on the floor it could get soaked. Yes... yes, you've guessed the reason here. Frankly I'd prefer liquid on my floor, where it can be cleaned up, rather than rotting my foundations, where it can't. 71.185.216.11 (talk) 07:40, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
