Court verdict[edit]

The court held Florence Hartmann guilty of contempt http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8253992.stm I am not editing article because it better be done by someone with more background in the case. Waeland (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:23, 14 September 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Neutrality[edit]

Issue concerns the section of this article dealing with the contempt case. Some sentences (eg "To be acceptable to democratic states and publics, an international court should make available the logic and effect of its rulings. There can be no secret jurisprudence, unavailable to debate and critique by an audience of lawyers, political leaders, and citizens") appear to be quotations of opinion but are not in quotation marks or placed in context. The sentence "Thus her conviction indicates that the Tribunal can keep secret the legal reasoning of any of its decisions and thus, refuse public scrutiny" is a clear statement of opinion rather than being objective. Prison[edit]

The article should be updated to reflect the fact that she is currently in jail. 2A02:8388:1600:3280:BE5F:F4FF:FECD:7CB2 (talk) 23:48, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
