Untitled[edit]

I'm changing the first paragraph to reflect the fraudulent nature of Byrd's 1926 "North Pole" flight. Also expanding portion relating to the 1927 crash. --Keithpickering 15:59, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't agree that sufficient references have been provided to establish the claim of "fraudulent". See Ohio State note on the diary. This note indicates that the handwritten notes in the diary back Byrd's claim that he believed he had reached the pole. — ERcheck (talk) 03:02, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
