Extraneous material[edit]
This article has a lot of extraneous material describing the theories of superconductivity and the Meissner effect that are already covered in Superconductivity. It should be slimmed down to concentrate on flux pumping, which is not described clearly. --ChetvornoTALK 21:16, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Indeed this article appears to present one particular theory which is not at all well accepted by the community rather than standard flux pumping which is mentioned only very breifly in this article 146.201.231.46 (talk) 18:29, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
15 teslas?[edit]
In the first sentence, "flux pumping is a method for magnetising bulk superconductors to fields in excess of 15 teslas", where did this quantity come from? To me it seems very arbitrary and I would like to see it motivated. We should probably explain from where this quantity comes, maybe by adding a reference to the statement, or change "fields in excess of 15 teslas" to "large magnetic fields" or something like that. —Kri (talk) 16:53, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
