Feedback[edit]

@Fionacwang: I noticed that you had moved your article over to Flyingfishfestival. That said, the article really wasn't ready yet and was very likely to be deleted. Because this would be a problem, I moved the article back to your sandbox so you can get the article into shape before you move it back out into the main part of the encyclopedia.

I had some feedback on your article:

  • The article needs references! You need references both to establish facts about the subject and to establish notability.
  • You need to try try to establish notability. As I've explained in class, and is clear in the tutorial, you can establish notability to find coverage in multiple reliable sources. In this case, I think you can probably establish this but you'll do to do so.
  • The article doesn't yet conform to Wikipedia standards in terms of formatting and style. If you're having trouble with this, look at other articles (maybe other Tawainese festivals or holidays) and feel free to copy formatting and then rewrite or reuse it for the content on this article.
  • The grammar and style in the article is pretty rough. Please proofread the article carefully.
  • The page name was incorrect. It should probably be Flying Fish Festival (Taiwan) or even Flying Fish Festival instead of Flyingfishfestival.

Please try to work on the article and move it into good shape. When you're done, send me a message on my talk page to tell me you're done. When you do that, I'll know and I'll take another look and get back to you right away. —mako 04:21, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
