Balanced?[edit]

This article is not balanced. For many years people have considered the ability to post billboards (the only low cost advertising available to grassroots political organizations) as a fundamental right, deserved of constitutional protection.

While the advent of the Internet has arguably reduced its importance, I think it is still an important medium in a free society. This view ought to at least be mentoned. --24.84.54.6 03:58, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Flyposting is the act of placing advertising posters or flyers in illegal places." --- illegal places? Are the places illegal or the act of posting ad on private property?

Proposed Merger with Wild posting campaigns[edit]

I propose merging the content of Wild posting campaigns into this article as the two are just two names for the same topic and this article is more developed. Wild Posting is not synonymous with Fly Posting anymore[edit]

The term Wild Posting more often than not is in reference to going wild on social media. More and more ad agencies are using the term fly posting to get away from it being confusing. If you google the term "wild posting" in the new section the majority of the results are talking about social media fiascos MrPoster (talk) 01:44, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
