Spelling[edit]

I believe that fomorian is actually spelt foRmorian. I don't know how to change article names though. If any knows how it is really spelt, and this is incorrect, then change the title or tell me how to. Fastzander 10:56, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are Fomorians, as in the type of Giants, and there are the Formorians which are ant-like humanoids. Two totally different things, with similar-sounding names. BOZ.

They are also in different books in 3E at least. Fomorian is in the Monster Manual II, Formorian is in the core Monster Manual. -Jeske ^{(Yell at me)} 04:44, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Having recently started a List of Dungeons & Dragons monsters, I am trying to determine which monster articles should be redirected into the lists. I believe this article may be a suitable candidate to be merged and redirected into List of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition monsters, as that is when it first debuted in the Dungeons & Dragons game. Please discuss reasons for or against such a merge. If no discussion has taken place 5 days from now, I will redirect this article to that list; otherwise I will follow whatever discussion takes place here. "Evolution"[edit]

The development of the fomorian from giant-kin slaves and manual laborers in AD&D (see, e.g., Giantcraft Forgotten Realms supplement) to powerful magic-wielding rulers of the Feydark in 4th edition (see, e.g, Monster Manual, Monster Manual 2 and Underdark game supplement, along with Heroes of the Feywild Forgotten Realms supplement) could be detailed. This would also expand the combat and religion sections, which currently only cover 2nd and 3rd edition.
