Women's football[edit]

I think a section should be created for prominent clubs in women's football. EriFr (talk) 18:52, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Berlin political derby"?[edit]

The article suggest that the matches between BFC Dynamo and Berliner AK 07 are known as a "Berlin political derby". I highly doubt that. There are only two sources for this: an article on the site turus.net from 2011 and an article on the site Fußball Woche from 2014. Neither article talks about a political derby. I know that there were "riots" during a cup match between the two teams in 2010. But the first ones to jump the fence from the side of BFC Dynamo were actually Polish hooligans linked to Pogoń Szczecin, according to author Frank Willmann, who happens to be a well known fan of 1. FC Union Berlin. And they were stopped by stewards and players of BFC Dynamo.[1] I do not think that those events gives us reason to talk about a political derby, and it was almost ten years ago. In any case, we need a reliable souce that describes the matches between the two teams as a "political derby". Otherwise, I suggest we delete this.
