Speedy nom[edit]

Article was created as an illustration of the first platform as a service offering, referenced in cloud computing. As it was just a stub it was promptly nominated for speedy deletion but admin rejected it. Others are welcome and encouraged to contribute, but it serves the needs for which it was created so unless I have a bunch of time on my hands it will stay as is for now samj (talk) 13:59, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Offer to Update[edit]

This article is quite old and dated - but before editing I wanted to be upfront here that I work for Salesforce.com. I'm a developer evangelist for this specific platform. That title doesn't actually mean that I must got to zealotry standards though, my desire is just to see the a stub written for 2008 updated for 2011. Offer to Update[edit]

I too would like to help update this article. Like the previous user, I also work for Salesforce so in order to avoid a COI, I would like to provide up-to-date data and let a neutral party incorporate changes into the page. For example, I would like to update numbers quoted in the second paragraph. I would also like to expand the page to include a more comprehensive description of Force.com, akin to other, similar product pages. Finally, I would like to offer substantiation to change the tone of the third paragraph - which seems negatively biased to me - by adding up-to-date, specific quotes or alternatively removing 3rd party opinions altogether and focusing on features and stats.
