Coordinate error[edit]

The coordinates need the following fixes:

50°41′25″N 121°55′29″W / 50.69028°N 121.92472°W / 50.69028; -121.92472 is the format - {{coord|50|41|25|N|121|55|29|W}} What is your source for these coordinates: I've seen Swannell's sketch-map of the site of Fort Berens, don't recall if it was in LD survey or latlong coords, don't know of any other primary source for same.Skookum1 (talk) 14:44, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The coordinates in use are those in the BCGNIS ref; the only other source, which is reprinted-by-hand in Edwards' book, the other site, gives exact surveyor's measurements/locations, but BCGNIS is teh "standard" for wikipedia coordinates, unless a more accurate primary source (and onlyi a primary source) can trump it.Skookum1 (talk) 03:47, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
