What about Fort Washington's 'History'?[edit]

This article reads more like a modern day brochure for tourists, with the bulk of its text committed to that. There is very little mention of its history, and no mention of its role during the American Revolution and the War of 1812. Yes, the article is rated as a 'START' but still needs to change its focus to historical issues. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 18:51, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Livingston Road[edit]

The link to Maryland Route 227 is misleading, since it only aligns on a small portion of the route, and ignores the part which extends into Prince George's county. TEDickey (talk) 21:49, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Washington 22, DC[edit]

"Until the founding of the Oxon Hill post office about 1960..."

From memory, it was more like 1963 or so. We moved there in 1961 and our address was "Washington 22, DC." It changed about then to Oxon Hill MD 20022. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 12:39, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

distance from DC[edit]

That "20 miles" appears to be based on Google's distance by road from the center of the District of Columbia, which is misleading since the straight-line distance from the district is only about 10 miles. The given WP:RS does not provide this information; one might want to consult a map to improve this topic. TEDickey (talk) 09:46, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
