The E3 demos[edit]

The E3 tech demos were never actually announced as being "Forza 4"; they were presented as purely as being Kinect tech demos, and specifically as something separate from the normal Forza games. 24.76.185.26 (talk) 17:55, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The trailer that was shown at the VGA's has footage of the E3 demo as well, so I guess it's confirmed in a way? --Elven6 (talk) 03:35, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • It does have footage that's derived from one of the two demos; the car/interaction demo, not the passing minigame one. 24.76.185.26 (talk) 06:12, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New layout is crowded, and now labelled as a magazine article[edit]

The original style had sections for Kinect and the career mode but now it has all run into one giant paragraph of review or magazine like text, labelled as a magazine. Any suggestions? I preferred it in sections it was easier to read. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FORCE6 (talkcontribs) 09:37, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The new layout follows WikiProject: Video games' article guidelines, as found here. As the editor gave no clear reason why it was tagged like a magazine I have removed the tag. --Teancum (talk)

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Forza Motorsport 4/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Reviewer: TBrandley (talk · contribs) 01:39, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Issues:

  • Reception: 91/100 → 91 out of 100
  • References: Ref. 2 & 32 & 39 - Forza Motorsport official website → forzamotorsport.net
  • References: Ref. 6 - Link IGN

That's all. Great work. TBrandley 01:43, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done.

  • Reception and lead prose were changed to 91 out of 100. I kept 91/100 in the review infobox for size purposes
  • All refs listed as Forza Motorsport official website → changed to forzamotorsport.net
  • I did not link ref #6, but instead linked ref #4, being the first time that an IGN reference is found.

Let me know if there's anything else. Thanks much for the review. --Teancum (talk) 15:13, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tesla Roadster picture[edit]

I would like to include a photo of the Tesla Roadster when they were recording the tire squeal. I have prepared a few links and would like to hear your opinion. I would also like to make sure that we are able to secure a copyright. Here: http://green.autoblog.com/2009/11/18/tesla-roadster-donates-tire-squeal-sounds-to-two-new-video-games/ http://www.treehugger.com/cars/video-game-developers-want-authentic-electric-sports-car-sound-record-tesla-roadster-in-action.html http://www.forzacentral.com/forum/threads/tesla-roadster-coming-to-forza-or-not.34142/ Thank you.--Gg53000 (talk) 00:17, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It would likely just get deleted unless we got express and full permission from the copyright holder. If you can find the copyright owner and go through the proper channels to get it to be free use over at Wikimedia, then go for it. If it stays a non-free image though it'll get deleted. --Teancum (talk) 00:59, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone please see if they can locate the copyright holder of at least one of these examples and maybe find a different version of this picture on another website? Thanks!--Gg53000 (talk) 21:29, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
