Natural lake?[edit]

It says the lake is natural. I know its dammed. Google maps clearly show a dam. And when i was a teen (many decades ago!) I remember seeing the dam. The Nanaimo Lakes article mentions its dammed. There really is very little info on the Nanaimo Lakes on line, does someone know a good source thst could really help this article (and the Nanaimo Lakes article too)?
