Fox film made this after seeing the success of Passion. Not sure how to incorporate it in the article

Distribution[edit]

I do not know a lot about the various roles different companies play in the production and distribution of films; however it seems to me that there is a discrepancy between the information provided on Fox Faith’s IMDB page (seen here - http://www.imdb.com/company/co0188813/) and the information stated in this article. The format for the section of this article that lists all of the films distributed by Fox Faith seems to be based on the IMDB page, however the IMDB page has (DVD) written next to Love’s Abiding Joy and One Night with the King, while this article has (theatrical) written next to them instead. Again, I know very little about film distribution, but it seems to me that the IMDB page is saying that Fox Faith only handled DVD distribution for the films, while this article is saying that they only handled theatrical distribution for the films. Other films have (all media) written next to them, so I am guessing that had Fox Faith handled both theatrical and DVD distribution for these two films, that would have been written next to them instead. I would assume that the IMDB page is correct and that the Wikipedia page is wrong, but I decided to see if I could find anything else out first. The first results that came up when I searched, “Love’s Abiding Joy theatrical distribution” on Google were these two pages.

http://www.ncm.com/movies/208821-overview

Both pages list Fox Faith as the film’s domestic theatrical distributor along with Cinedigm Digital Cinema, which is listed nowhere on Love's Abiding Joy’s IMDB page (seen here -http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0785025/companycredits). IMDB lists The Bigger Picture as the film's distributor. IMDB does not have (theatrical), (DVD), or (all media) written next to The Bigger Picture, but as IMDB does not list anything else under the Distributers section I assume that it means The Bigger Picture was Love’s Abiding Joy’s theatrical distributor. The Bigger Picture, however is not listed anywhere on either of the two pages above. When searching "One Night with the King theatrical distribution" these two pages come up. (Same websites as above)

http://www.ncm.com/movies/205147-overview

Like with Love's Abiding Joy, both pages list Fox Faith as One Night with the King’s domestic theatrical distributor. They also both list Gener8Xion Entertainment as another domestic theatrical distributor for the film. One Night with the King’s IMDB page (seen here - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0430431/companycredits) does not list Gener8Xion Entertainment as one of the film's domestic theatrical distributors; however it does list it as the film's production company. The nytimes site also lists Gener8Xion Entertainment as the film's production company. One Night with the King's IMDB page lists 8x Entertainment as the film's domestic theatrical distributor, however 8x Entertainment is not mentioned anywhere on either of the two pages above.

So ultimately I have three questions.

1. Did Fox Faith distribute these two films only on DVD or did it also distribute them theatrically?

2. If Fox Faith only distributed these films on DVD, then why do the nytimes and ncm websites state that it distributed them theatrically or if Fox Faith did distribute them theatrically then why does IMDB state that it only distributed them on DVD?

3. Why does IMDB not list Cinedigm Digital Cinema as one of Love's Abiding Joy’s distributors or Gener8Xion Entertainment as one of One Night with the King’s distributors and why do the nytimes and ncm websites not list The Bigger Picture as one of Love's Abiding Joy’s distributors or 8x Entertainment as one of One Night with the King’s distributors?
