Seinen? Shonen?[edit]

Where do you get the demographic of Gangan Online from? I can't find any official statement on it. Rather it seems to me that it doesn't have a definite demographic, but is publishing both series which used to be / are published in their Shonen as well as Seinen magazines and of course their own series, some of them shonen, some of them seinen. I suppose if an official source for the demographic can't be found, then a neutral "male" demographic could be added in the mean time.-- 10:13, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Has there been any other example? I mean, there are a few manga magazines today that don't limit their demographic to only one of shonen, shojo, seinen or josei. "Male" sounds fine (for Fractale anyway), but then again, there are some Gangan online series that could even be josei/shojo (f.ex. Undertaker Riddle) >< Maybe it's better to just leave it out completely until somebody finds an official statement? Minikui (talk) 12:03, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I feel that would be even more problematic, since editors tend to want to add in a demographic if one is missing. It's not controvertible for "male" to be listed, as I doubt anyone would suggest this manga was targeted towards women. Though, on the other hand, I've seen editors change the demographic to a more specific term in the instances when we use male/female for the novel boxes.-- 12:13, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
