Tagging Strategy ?[edit]

The history of the page shows commendable effort by many to edit spelling and grammar. That leaves the attention to "usage" "tone" and "voice". In this respect it looks as if the marker was placed in reference to a personal discussion between User:Lukobe and User:Dark Tichondrias. "Flagging" your "name" may look as if something is happening, it may not always guarantee content. See: Talk:François Bernier's first defined race

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say here. This article is still in need of copyediting. What do you mean by "'flagging' your 'name'"? --Lukobe 23:22, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For example, take this sentence:

He wrote Travels in Mughal Empire which is mainly about Dara Shikoh's and Aurangzeb's period.

I fixed this sentence, which is not written in Standard English, by changing it to:

He wrote Travels in the Mughal Empire, which is mainly about the reigns of Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb.

I just don't have the time to perform a thorough copyedit of the whole article, in which a cursory glance will reveal many more errors. Hence why I tagged it with {{copyedit}}. Now, it is true that my attention was first brought to the article because Dark Tichondrias had been involved with it, and I have noticed that Dark Tichondrias's contributions are often in need of copyediting, but it is apparent that this article needs copyediting regardless of that fact. --Lukobe 23:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

O.K.,take your time and keep up the good work. However...Dara Shikoh did not exactly "reign", or did he ? (Ref.François Bernier: "Travels in the Mughal Empire") (84.193.162.12 10:55, 16 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Probably not, but the original version made no sense. --Lukobe 17:09, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So what do you mean by "'flagging' your 'name'"? --Lukobe 17:27, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm vexed by the fact that User:Dark Tichondrias merges a usefull template (for some) on the wrong understanding. Elsewhere [[1]] he refers to his source as a book, citing even the pages while no such book exists. This is very poor science and notice should be taken of this. His other contributions may stem from the same breed.However...this too will pass. (84.193.162.12 10:23, 18 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Commendable Effort[edit]

Thank you User:Dark Tichondrias for showing good faith. We may yet grow accustomed to your face... (84.193.172.199 12:50, 27 April 2006 (UTC)) Now all there remains to be done is to convince User:Lukobe that "A New Division of the Earth" is NOT A BOOK. No convincing is necessary. You are confused. I was merely moving Dark Tichondrias's content, not making any judgement as to its accuracy. I see you've made the change, so all is well. --Lukobe 19:52, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
