Further Improvements[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have a few changes I feel are necessary in updating this page's content, under the headline of Diplomatic representation, the Ambassador's are no longer appointed therefore we should update these names. Furthermore, maybe under headings "political" or "Arts and Culture" we could talk about the recent events of political satire that have occurred in light of the Charlie Hebo caricature and President E. Macron's point of view and it's impact on the relations between the two countries, such as the boycotting of french products by Qatari citizens. 78.101.184.255 (talk) 13:54, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article that I have chosen is about the France-Qatar Relations. I think that this article can be enhanced in several ways to further depict the culture of both countries united. The article is categorized in a very efficient and effective way, however each section can be further developed and updated to current events as most of the information is outdated since 2017. This will allow readers to view a more in the now page that gives them a better and clearer idea of the countries relationship. I also like how the article not only features hard power aspects like diplomacy and political stances but also incorporates soft power characteristics like education and arts which I would like to focus on as I feel represents intercultural communication themes. Furthermore, I want to talk about the Emir’s recent visits to France and the impact of his visits. I plan to talk about how France-Qatar culture has grown due to sports such as football and how Paris Saint-Germain as a club has brought the two nations closer together. It has allowed citizens of both countries to unite together and support one team. I plan to also incorporate current events such as political satire and the influence it had especially with the boycotting of French products and how that had an impact on France’s economy showing that art and culture can be powerful on bilateral relations. As a whole the article shows a glimpse of what I plan to further add and develop, it needs updating and more information that can bring the cultures together even through the simplest of things such as Entertainment and Dining that I would like to integrate in the article as a new section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GhaliaAlMansouri (talkcontribs) 21:18, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
