Frank Hatton in Clare county Michigan[edit]

Hello out there. This is my first time reaching out to a Wikipedia editor, so hopefully this is a good experience. I noticed that North Dakota has a town named after Mr. Frank Hatton. My question concerns a township in central Michigan, also by the name of Hatton. I am a member of the Clare County Historical Society and I've read in a place or two that Clare county's Hatton township is named after Frank Hatton. I've never read why this would be the case and was wondering if someone who worked on this Wiki page could help me out, at least with their opinion. Our township of Hatton was organized in January of 1886, which doesn't exactly line up with Frank Hatton's job as postmaster and actually corresponds with his retirement back into the newspaper business. Hatton township was mainly a lumbering enterprise early on, which a good size town that thrived with the lumber and held on for a number of years afterward. It had a school and post office, among other businesses you would expect. Now, the only thing left is the school house (now a residence) and the old railroad grade, maybe some foundations.
