Car Accident

Is the car accident really appropriate in the section for "Arrests and Releases"? 207.206.242.219 (talk) 15:54, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

frank lucas or nicky barnes

Who was bigger in new york?

American Gangster says Frank was and Mr. Untouchable says that Nicky was.

So who made more money? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sp0 (talkcontribs) 10:40, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Ritchie Roberts

Can someone make a page for Detective Roberts? I'm really interested, and I'm sure other people will be too now that the movie is out. 98.194.5.153 07:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Richie Roberts exists -- Esemono (talk) 07:01, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Jacket?

OK, but the article says "The two often bought expensive gifts for each other including the infamous jacket that she paid $125,000"... was it a jacket, or a COAT like in the movie? Also the article doesn't seem to have much other information on the "infamous jacket"... why is it infamous? -- Bobbozzo 09:48, 11 March 2008

Changed to coat to match reference and added reason for its infamy -- Esemono (talk) 11:33, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Copy Violations

There were several passages in the article directly lifted from this [1] article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Average White Dork (talkcontribs) 03:55, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Death

there isn't a single news item concerning Lucas' death - deleted as such:--Soetermans 21:40, 16 March 2008

Frank Lucas was found dead at the age of 77 in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, March 14, 2008. His body was found at approximately 3:04 in the morning, according to NYPD officials. His face appeared swollen and they believed he was intoxicated. They brought him in to their local office. When they arrived there, they assumed that he remained unconsious. It was not until twenty minutes later that a police officer checked for a pulse and found none. He is believed to have died from a mixture of intoxication and a heroin overdose. His death was not made public until the following Sunday, March 16. -- BobbyFishkin 19:47, 16 March 2008
i do not not have access to the original source for that quote, but assuming it is accurate (and you have it it), why not simply providing the source and incorporating the info into the article?--Kmhkmh (talk) 10:26, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Its been over a week and still no news of his death, this addition was a hoax. -- Esemono (talk) 14:47, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Murderer?

Although there are numerous scenes in the movie where Lucas commits murder he was never commited and therefore innocent. Unless someone can prove he was convicted of murder all murders he commited in the past are merely rumors and therefore all information on them should be deleted.
