Did Frank Mundus edit this article?[edit]

A person identifying himself as Frank Mundus edited this article (correcting birth information) in January 2007. See this edit. Americasroof (talk) 20:44, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I guess so - he also made one other change with the comment 'corrected my birthplace...' sjwk (talk) 19:47, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think he wrote most of the article, to be honest. The amateurish tone of the whole thing sounds like the language in his autobiography. Alexandermoir (talk) 23:38, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Legitimacy of Big Shark Catch[edit]

A recent edit said the big shark catch was ruled illegitimate because of the whale chum. However the referenced article in the obit says the catch was legitimate. If it was not legitimate please cite it. Americasroof (talk) 04:45, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Boat jumping around like Cricket[edit]

A recent edit said he got the name because he boat bounced like a cricket. There's a source for the Jimminey Cricket. There's no reference for the jumping. Americasroof (talk) 04:45, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stanley Lenox and the Big Shark Harpoon[edit]

I reverted an edit that said "the man that harpooned the shark was stanley lenox the first mate of the ship" The edit has no refernce. If it's true please provide a reference. Americasroof (talk) 17:21, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
