Comments[edit]

The term "powder-mill" should become a directory as to all the powder-mills from around the world and in what years they operated and by who.

This page is under construction, so please do not remove. More information will be forth coming.Bigjoe5216 (talk) 06:34, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also there are other terms for the powder-mills that operated during the Revolution. Eve's mill was a privately owned mill. Mills owned by the Revolutionaries were called Continental Powder-Mills.Bigjoe5216 (talk) 07:43, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oswell Eve[edit]

I visited the Oswell Eve page today, and I must say it bares no semblance of accuracy as compared as to when I first set the page up. It has been totally butchered by amateur want to be historians. The facts have been removed and replace with inaccurate information. It is just as well. I am tired of being in pissing contests with people who have too much time on their hands.

My brainchild is dead. It has been murdered. Farewell - farewell!

I will let the false information and edits stand.Bigjoe5216 (talk) 00:26, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Um, I'm not sure what you're seeing, Joe, but I think there have only been some minor changes of form on Eve's page and this one since you last edited them. Could you be more specific what your objections are? We're always interested in correcting verifiably false information.--BillFlis (talk) 01:13, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"This article is an orphan, as few or no other articles link to it. Please introduce links to this page from related articles; suggestions are available. (February 2010). "

Looks like things got even worse. Do you know it had all of those links to other stubs- long before people started screwing it up? You guys got it twiddled down to nothing by citing inaccurate publications. - To tell you the truth - I am content that most of the accurate information has disappeared. It will be just that much more shocking when someone publishes a whole book on Oswell Eve - then you might just need to cite that. I have no time to attempt to correct the Wiki-maniacs that have bastardized this article (or any article), as they just continue to vandalize it. Go to the Frankford Gazette history corner - you might learn something. Bigjoe5216 (talk) 08:53, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Joe, the last time you edited this page, over two years ago, it was only 326 bytes long. It is now over 2300 bytes long, of which additions I myself added over half. Could you tell me please specifically what you object to here?--BillFlis (talk) 08:18, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Map reference[edit]

This reference proports to show the lcation of the powder mill building, but it looks doubtful to me. 40°00′57″N 75°04′29″W / 40.0159°N 75.074803°W / 40.0159; -75.074803--Dthomsen8 (talk) 01:02, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
