Children's novel?[edit]

The genre "Children's novel" has been in the infobox since 2011, but this is not reflected in the categories, and Gene Stratton-Porter is not described as a children's writer. Any comments? What should change? Robina Fox (talk) 18:23, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Back when this was originally written, it was aimed at what we would call the "Young Adult" crowd today. But the themes of this book don't fit the Young Adult genre. I added "romance novel," since the romance is a major part of it. But I don't think the "children's novel" designation should be removed. Cfitzpatrick3 (talk) 01:32, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
