Autobiography Tag[edit]

Looked at article history from October 2015 - Decemeber 17th a lot of the content added was included by Fredsmartin (talk). Which the wiki user name has the same name as the article subject, so I figured I'd throw a tag on there in case there is some content that could use verification as well as to avoid bias issues and puffery. Other than that I have complete assumption of good faith. Fredsmartin (talk) great job on the inclusions to the article!

Someone is repeatedly section blanking and blatantly violating the rules[edit]

Someone is repeatedly section blanking and blatantly violating the rules. Can this article be protected so that this crap doesn't keep happening? It's very obvious what is going on.2600:100E:B109:AAAE:3C73:C457:E7D1:29DD (talk) 17:16, 19 July 2019 (UTC) It’s still happening, and it looks like the vandal thinks the less/frequent edits will escape detection. 2600:100E:B146:F7BE:C138:DD4E:DA0B:26A (talk) 05:34, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

PROTECT THIS ARTICLE PLEASE[edit]

Either the subject or someone close to it is making repeated attempts to both remove inconvenient information and add back superfluous material. Please do something about this! 134.204.65.97 (talk) 20:24, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Police Report and investigation section[edit]

Including this content in the article not appropriate as it violates WP:BLP, WP:BLPPUBLIC, and WP:DUE.

From the source for the police report and investigation paragraph: Martin has never been arrested or tried for any of the actions in either report, and the investigators ultimately concluded no criminal activity that could be prosecuted was identified in the investigation. Unless this incident receives significant coverage (certainly more than an article or two in local sources) or the subject is convicted or at the very least charged with a crime, this content is not appropriate for inclusion. That's an interesting interest you have in cleaning up this small time politician's wikipedia page - so are you his lawyer, or his public relations manager? He's on video walking into the girls bathroom of a high school, and then did it again 2 years later. Sure, not a crime, but this police report is the most notable thing about this man. https://drive.google.com/file/d/148e7ty-_XPD23697I4z9OEf7ZE9Za9Jn/view . I'd wager 99% of the visitors to this page are looking for info on these incidents. How much does he or his donors pay you to "make it go away"? Habanero-tan (talk) 04:40, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

agreed; there's significant evidence that this man did what he's accused of doing (attempting to sexually harrass and/or assault minors), and I for one definitely think it's relevant information re:this page's function as this man's biography as well as relevant to the public as a whole, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense why someone that allegedly isn't or at least shouldn't be personally involved with this man would think otherwise... ESPECIALLY when and I quote "Looked at article history... a lot of the content added was included by Fredsmartin... the wiki user name has the same name as the article subject, so I figured I'd throw a[n autobiography] tag on there... to avoid bias issues..." - Amintly
whatta coincidence, amirite? anyway...
https://www.fredmartinrevealed.com/police-investigations/
as well as plenty of other nonlocal articles and the police reports themselves have a lot of information concerning this man and the incidents referenced that is relevant to this page's function that could and should be cited as references...
if you help bad people get away with bad things that makes you bad as well 2600:1700:F91:B320:C507:C54C:B0A5:4508 (talk) 16:55, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
