When you write Principal Characters it is only for ONE of the novels... ? no?Hektor 03:34, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • It really should be for the characters who recur frequently in different books. Do you think any should be added or removed? Dlyons493 Talk 08:27, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is not clear from the English page which of the French titles are Adamsberg titles -- therefore, it's not possible to tell which of these remain to be translated, or whether there are any "intermediate" titles (between two existing English translations) that haven't yet been published. It would be useful to group all of her French titles by theme (academic titles, Adamsberg titles, etc., whatever makes sense), and then perhaps, within that list, show corresponding english titles for those that have been translated, and their publication dates.

Fair use rationale for Image:Have mercy of us all.jpg[edit]

Image:Have mercy of us all.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:40, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Three Evangelists translations[edit]

Surely it's high time for the second and third novels in the Three Evangelists series to be translated into English. The first one, translated, won rave reviews, distinguished awards, and a readership eagerly looking forward to the next two. Younggoldchip (talk) 21:27, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thirteen years later, I'll mention how much I enjoyed the translations of the second and third Three Evangelists novels. Especially THE ACCORDIONIST. Surely it's time for Vargas to write fourth and fifth novels in the Three Evangelists series? They're her most enthralling characters. Younggoldchip (talk) 16:32, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
