Page move discussion[edit]

I propose moving the article to Frederic Stanley Dunn, per this biography. If you look at the book hits in the searches below, you will see that contemporary sources spell his name "Frederic". And although it cannot be used a reliable source in itself, and mistakes are sometimes made, Find-a-Grave shows his name spelled "Frederic" on his headstone.

I haven't delved into the numbers to find a definitive spelling or most common usage.

My motivation for this is to not have to disambiguate from Frederick S. Dunn with what I view is the clunky qualifier "Klansman", as in the past he was best known as a classical scholar, and thus "(academic)" might be a better qualifier. I would, however, be interested to hear why "Klansman" would be a better qualifier. See WP:AT and WP:QUALIFIER for more guidance. We could bypass the need for a qualifier all together if we move the page to the correct spelling of his full name.

No objection. The reason for the "Klansman" qualifier was that I didn't find a source for what the "S." stood for.  Sandstein  18:54, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking care of it! Valfontis (talk) 19:47, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
