Saline County Courthouse[edit]

The Men Who Are Making Kansas City reference (a 1902 book from which we are citing a biography adapted online under the heading "Men Who Made Kansas City") states that Gunn designed "the court houses at Lawrence, Emporia, and Salina, Kas." From the book's date, this has to be the 1883 addition to the 1870 Saline County, Kansas, courthouse, because the 1910 courthouse was by Wilmarth and Zerbe. But 1883 seems very early for Gunn to have designed or co-designed it. Unless there was a separate later courthouse for Salina, rather than the county?
