Needs to be an stand-alone wiki on French territorial expansionism/annexations[edit]

...wow so so so much of the rim of France seems to be reletively recently annexed land. Bits of: Monaco, Avignon, Savoy, Nice, Picardy north Basque country, northern Catalonia, Elsass and Lothringen, Pale of Calais, southern Flanders, Britany, Corsica and NOW YET ANOTHER ONE: French Hainaut.

I bet also bits of: Luxemburg, bits of Andorra, Chausey island bits of Switzerland bits of alpine Italy Begium Luxemburg and Ardennes

SOME PLEASE MAKE A WIKI PAGE OF FRENCH TERRIRTORIAL EXPANSIONISM

ps believe it or not, a lot of the French terriorial expansionism is thanks to British blessing, in that the British saw the Dutch and Germans much greater worthies than the French, so allowed the French to expand to thwart the German and Dutch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.69.57.38 (talk) 21:09, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
