Superfluous tag[edit]

I have removed the superfluous tag, which was included by one specific user who has a long history of edit-warring with me, as

  • several references are given within the text and additional material can be found in the bibliography,
  • there is objective evidence of the person's notability.

The subject has received significant attention from independent sources to support a claim of notability. The artist has received a significant award or honor, his work has been a substantial part of significant exhibitions, and he has won significant critical attention. Furthermore, according to Wikipedia's notability guidelines, sources are not required to be available online, and they are not required to be in English. To my mind, the frequent inclusion of superfluous tags in several articles written by me seems to be part of a harassment strategy by this specific user, which is dangerously close to cyberstalking.
