Removal of fourth layer in 2008[edit]

I've checked all the datasheets they still show this layer. I think we should go with those. I've prepared this image for use. Will insert it tomorrow if no objections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bostwickenator (talkcontribs) 00:50, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removing data about non current films[edit]

We shouldn't just keep track of current things. This is an encyclopedia not a product catalog. An appropriate action is to mark the items as having fallen out of production not sanitize all mention of them from the encyclopedia. I have marked the films that are currently available. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bostwickenator (talkcontribs) 17:13, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

specially handled[edit]

One section mentions specially handled for some films, refrigerated from production to sale. Should we also mention that others are aged, to make sure that they work well in less ideal conditions? (That is, ordinary consumer use.) Gah4 (talk) 23:07, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That is interesting...I didn't know that was a method, I thought all film was fresh out of the factory. That sounds like an interesting addition, just find a citation and add I think.Anymouse (talk) 12:14, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It was some time before I understood this. One was that when E6 films came out, the pro films came out about a year earlier. But also when I found that I could use pro films, keeping them in the camera for a month or two, and not worry about them. Gah4 (talk) 17:50, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
