Furileusauria-->Carnotaurini[edit]

What are anyone's thoughts on moving this page, Furileusauria, into Carnotaurini? Clearly, they're synonymous, with Furileusauria being the morphological definition and Carnotaurini being the cladistic defintion, and Carnotaurini would be the senior synonym (Coria et al. 2002 [1]) --Hiroizmeh (talk) 19:14, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, nevermind; Furileusauria would be the parent taxon as it is defined as most inclusive clade containing Carnotaurus but notIlokelesia, Skorpiovenator, or Majungasaurus, and Carnotaurini is defined as the most inclusive clade containing Carnotaurus and Aucasaurus, common ancestor, and all its descendants. --Hiroizmeh (talk) 19:14, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Should Carnotaurinae, Furileusauria, and Carnotaurini be merged or have their own pages?

I believe Furileusauria and Carnotaurini should be merged, with Furileusauria being the page name, since it's a more inclusive clade by definition. Carnotaurinae should be discarded because it's not used anymore since Abelisaurus is believed to be a derived abelisaurid. Meekororum (talk) 23:36, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
