Confused[edit]

"The original G.O. Guy drugstore at Second and Yesler" - I don't fully understand this quote; "Second and Yesler" what? I think it has something to do with the road layout, don't roads in American towns and cities have 'streets' and 'avenues' running in different directions? If so, it should be made clear. Not all American cities follow the avenue/street directional convention, but Seattle does, and indeed the intersection would more fully be called "Second Avenue and Yesler Way". Nonetheless, since there's only one road in Seattle named Yesler (Yesler Way) and there's only Second Avenue (no Second Street), even without the "Street" or "Avenue", "Second and Yesler" is completely unambiguous. But I went ahead and more fully spelled out the street names, since for someone not familiar with Seattle it could definitely be a bit confusing.--24.19.57.152 (talk) 03:14, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
