Several components[edit]

GNU Health seems to consist of several components, see https://www.gnuhealth.org/download.html Would be interesting to read more about them:

  • Hospital Management Information System - this seems to be what GNU Health started from: "It provides the functionality of Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Hospital Management (HMIS) and Health Information System (HIS)."
  • Laboratory Information System (Occhiolino)
  • GNU Health Embedded: Different flavors of GNU Health on an Single-board Computer like RaspberryPi
  • MyGNUHealth: Personal Health Record application for desktop and mobile devices
