Overpricing[edit]

Since GAP specifically caters to low-budget/student-type travellers, I think overpricing is important info. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.113.245 (talk) 10:21, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Claims that GAP holidays are overpriced need to be sourced to reliable sources. Wikitravel is not a reliable source. Similar to WP:BLP, negative information about a business that is currently trading needs to be backed up, and backed up well or it cannot appear on Wikipedia. galapagos for example: http://www.galapagosislands.com/galapagos-yachts/prices-level-1.html (official site) http://126.55.234.216.rev.connection.ca/trips/budget-galapagos-10-day-g3/EV10AY/2010/ http://www.roughguides.com/website/Travel/SpotLight/ViewSpotLight.aspx?spotLightID=453 Gap is selling a budget trip at luxury cost (300 dollar a day, while they can be had for 100-150) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.113.245 (talk) 12:00, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is pretty obvious, 100% more than others cannot be considered budget, especially not in the 1500-3000$ range.--84.208.113.245 (talk) 12:03, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
please post any reasoned objections or it goes in with new references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.157.199.60 (talk) 16:44, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've asked for more eyes at WP:BLP/N#Gap Adventures. Mjroots (talk) 11:19, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Simple, either present a wp:rs which says they overprice or it does not go in, comparing prices to other travel companys violates wp:or mark nutley (talk) 21:50, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I do not see any legitimate source that shows GAP Adventures carries 70,000 passengers. The provided reference only links to a GAP website (which in itself is a cause of concern) and this site does not even back up this figure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.246.15.145 (talk) 00:33, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the note that G Adventures carries 100,000 passengers. There is no evidence of this, and the link was inactive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.162.155.125 (talk) 00:54, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ADD: I am not sure why the above is here, stating that they cater for students? They have never catered for students, with all of their holidays being mixed age group tours. Some are described as 'Classic' and some as 'Comfort', with the latter obviously the more expensive. Recently, in the last couple of years, they have introduced their first age-related tours. These are 'YOLO' tours, which cater for ages 18-39, hardly students! They used to be called GAP Adventures of course, but this never had anything to do with students gap years, with GAP standing for 'Great Adventure People', a monica which they still use of their website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Razzladazzla (talkcontribs) 22:15, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bets company? No citations...[edit]

This seems very weak to me: *2013 Named one of the Best Workplaces in Canada - Large and Multinational Companies. needs a source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.108.70.171 (talk) 02:19, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wikipeeps I am new to this but I would like to recommend replacing the logo as this logo is no longer used by the company. I represent G Adventures. This is the new logo which can be seen on this site here: https://travelmassive.com/companies/g-adventures Kckiwigirl (talk) 21:27, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
