Initial review

Background[edit]

"He was occupied by his coach Guy Gaétan Ntoutoume Endenda and international classifier Astride Koumba", is occupied the right word in this sentence? Was it meant to be accompanied?

Athletics[edit]

"Edmond Ngombi suffered polio at an early age", should this be "suffered from"? Or even contracted?
I would add his overall position after his heat as he's listed as finishing sixth before the following sentence explains the top eight qualify, so it sounds a little odd.
"Nogmbi was not permitted to advance to the final", could this be reworded? It sounds slightly like he was denied rather than he simplified didn't qualify. Failed to qualify for the final, perhaps? Also his name has a typo in this sentence.
