This is a very famous person in Italy, and he recently denounced the case of a pedophilic politician in the italian parliament.

And he also annoys people in the international showbusiness, his face will be useful for those people to avoid him.

If that is the case, this article might be better suited in Italian Wikipedia rather than English Wikipedia, since I surmise that most of the editors in English Wiki do not speak Italian or read italian newspapers.

Okay, I've read your additional, verifiable sources and I believe that this is a worthwhile contribution. Thank you for providing them. I then formally request a Sysop to withdraw the Request for Deletion. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have cause you, but as you know, there are a lot of 'junk articles' created everyday, and by its initial appearance, I believed it to be one of that class. The only english language souce I found about his 5 month jail term is this http://gayswithoutborders.wordpress.com/2008/05/16/gabriele-paolini-condom-prophet-jailed-for-offending-christianity/ but I think the italian newspaper is maybe more authoritative.
