I found this article via the "Random article" link, and was about to clean it up when a bit of research revealed there's already a page about Galle. Since the existing text only talked about the city (not district) of Galle, I am redirecting "Galle District" to "Galle". Should anyone object, here's the previous, horribly-written text of this article:

Galle is a city of Sri Lanka which is located in down south of Sri Lanka which was highly affected by the Tsunami in 2004 but still it’s standing as a paradise. In the past history this town was ruled by English, protégées etc and still left sings of them, Galle fort is a great example of it which is a main tourist attraction now days. Galle international cricket ground is one of a recognized cricket ground in the world which has hosted significant cricket matches in recent era. Also the white sand beaches are the best tourist attraction in Galle as well as small cabanas and ancient hotels add more beauty to city.
