Greetings to all the readers, I would like to point out that according to the Etymologicum Magnum the river Echedoros had an even more ancient name, which is Edonos. It quotes that " Ἐχέδωρος: Ποταμὸς Μακεδονίας, ὁ πρότερον Ἡδωνὸς καλούμενος [...] ", " Echedoros: A river of Makedonia, the previously called Edonos [...] ". And it continues by saying that " Ἢ ἀπὸ Δώρου τινὸς Ἀρκάδος, ἀρίστου τὰ πολεμικά. ὅς συμμαχῶν Ἀλεξάνδρῳ τῷ φιλαδέλφῳ, ἐμπεσὼν τῲ ποταμῷ αἴτιος γέγονε τῆς ὀνομασίας. ", " Or by someone, of Arcadian descent, named Doros, the best at the art of war. He had become an ally to Alexander the philadelphus, he, thus, fell into the river and became the cause for its naming. ". Thus, I believe that it is reasonable to ask for this kind addition to the article.
