Season 7 Directors[edit]

WatchersOnTheWall lists the director-episode line up for Season 7, but gives no official source. Is this just WP:OR on their end (given that WOTW has previously been declared unreliable; even attempting to post the link here renders this post un-postable), or is there an official source supporting this? Since, if there's an official source stating that Jeremy Podeswa did indeed direct the premiere episode, we can display the episode table here and on the LoE article. Rumors aren't confirmation, as the section above this one proves. Calibrador (talk) 23:48, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You do appear to have missed the point. WOTW confirms it to be true, however right or wrong that may be; that is why I am asking if there is an official source backing this up. Alex|The|Whovian? 23:49, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

We now know , by default, that the writers of E6 and E7 are David and Dan aajacksoniv (talk) 10:11, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Source? -- AlexTW 13:12, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The reference to 'writer' on episode 7 , George R R Martin, at the HBO site, is for the source material, not the teleplay.aajacksoniv (talk) 11:37, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Death is the Enemy[edit]

It is not the title of episode 6: https://twitter.com/WatchersOTWall/status/897472359170486272. Should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.86.129.86 (talk) 16:25, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You've linked an unverified social media account - it cannot be used as a reliable source. -- AlexTW 22:30, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Turned out to be much more reliable than the used source, didn't it ;). Can't trust random websites, people. 83.86.129.86 (talk) 20:45, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Truly strange that at this late date there is no official title for episode 6? At SXSW (2017) David Benioff and D.B. Weiss mention that Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill wrote two episodes and they wrote the rest, so they should be the writers of episodes 6 and 7? 2602:306:C5A0:E590:E034:32BD:3695:8B70 (talk) 23:31, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Copy-paste merged from User talk:IVORK#Episode title and redirects

I just checked my own television's guide for the next Game of Thrones episode's title, and it lists it as "Death Is the Enemy." As such, I recreated the redirect which you moved previously to "Beyond the Wall." Obviously it doesn't actually matter until the episode airs, but just letting you know my reasoning for re-creating the redirect. Once the official title is confirmed, probably within the next day or two, I'd suggest deleting whichever redirect was not actually the episode's title. Not sure if it would be wise to remove the episode title from the season 7 article, also. Calibrador (talk) 09:59, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I just looked at the source for the title on the season 7 article, and see it's an HBO account, an official one presumably. So I'm not sure anymore. Calibrador (talk) 10:05, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I know YouTube doesn't count for much, but their official account captioned the S07E06 trailer with your title. We'll just wait and see before I move mine to sandbox. I was just acting off that source which seemed believable. No dramas. — IVORK Discuss 10:08, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, well in that case it may be best to just leave it as TBA on the season 7 page then. If you disagree feel free to revert. Calibrador (talk) 10:20, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Fine by me, @Chairhandlers: see above mate, it is likely that source is incorrect due to the amount of sources supporting the Death Is the Enemy title. Leaving it until there's a clearer source from HBO themselves was the plan. I'm gonna undo your changes since there's ambiguity at this stage. — IVORK Discuss 21:13, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Actually now that I check it, the HBO website lists it as Beyond the Wall, unsure why your TV guide would get that wrong. Will leave as is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ — IVORK Discuss 21:24, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Per above, leaving it as Beyond the Wall until there is a source stronger than http://www.hbo.com/schedule?focusid=799562 provided. — IVORK Discuss 00:08, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oddly HBO in another place on their web site has it listed as "Death is the Enemy", tho the 'official' title on the preview page is 'Beyond the Wall'. HBO has been sloppy for some while with their web site. 2602:306:C5A0:E590:9812:7863:8A47:4DC8 (talk) 10:14, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
What is this other place? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 11:29, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
HBO's main page. I understand the confusion, Death is the Enemy however is bracketed there and in most other sources I've found of it and is probably just due to the speech given in the episode (see trailer). Clicking through to the episode gives Beyond the Wall unbracketed. — IVORK Discuss 15:30, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation. The previous episode trailer doesn't match the confirmed title so we can discount Death is the Enemy as the title too. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 15:38, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Turns out David Benioff and Dan Weiss did write this episode as they had said at SXSW.aajacksoniv (talk) 11:33, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Correct cast order[edit]

So, I have painstakingly went through each and every episode per season to make sure the cast order is correct because others have been changing it. The order is now complete. It also follows Wikipedia's cast order guidelines precisely. For a very long time, this has not been the case, as several cast members were incorrectly listed in the middle of the list when they should been included later down. What do you think? I don't see any reason to change it from this point. — Branjsmith94 03:02, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
