This article is written in South African English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, realise, analyse) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Updated 2011 census stats[edit]

I updated these from Adrian Frith's website. The increase in population and households in Steynsburg and Venterstad are the result of RDP (low cost) houses built during 2005-2010. The increase in area of Oviston, results from the now-inclusion of the surrounding nature reserves, before the figure only represented the residential town's area.
